Deputy Governor Felício Ramuth receives Walter Afonso, Director of the BraiNet Hub Brazil-Netherlands Program, at the Bandeirantes Palace.

      On February 21, 2025, the Vice-Governor of the State of São Paulo, Felício Ramuth, received the director of BraiNports Hub at Palácio dos Bandeirantes. Also present were Professors Drs. Elbert Macau and Cláudia Granito, from Unifesp, specialists in Science and Technological Innovation, together with Eng. Flavio D. Afonso.

Walter Afonso presented the BraiNet Hub project to the Vice-Governor, who was particularly impressed by the insights into the Dutch innovation ecosystem. He expressed his full support for the international programme, offered to welcome investors and offered several valuable suggestions to ensure its continued growth and success.

Professor Dr. Elbert Macau, from Unifesp, highlighted the excellence of the program and committed to working to involve Fapesp in launching a call for proposals aimed at promoting the exchange of Brazilian scientists and professionals.

The meeting marks an important step towards strengthening international partnerships focused on open innovation, artificial intelligence and joint development between technology parks in Brazil and Europe.
